Crowning the 2013 Lithia PacAm Champions

The Championship Round takes place on Sunriver Resort’s Crosswater Course. Crosswater spans 600 scenic acres of woodlands and carefully preserved wetlands with Mt. Bachelor as a backdrop and the Deschutes and Little Deschutes Rivers meandering through the heathland style design. It’s not hard to understand why the course was so named as the rivers come into play often – as many as seven times in a round depending on tee selection. Designed by Robert Cupp to be a true test of golf, each hole features five tee placements as well as bent grass fairways and greens.

Crosswater was honored by Golf Digest as one of “America’s 100 Greatest Courses,” and hosted the JELD-WEN Tradition major championship of the Champions Tour from 2007 through 2010.

Qualification for the Championship Round

After three days of tournament play between players in each respective flight, the top-four (4) participants from each Flight in each of the Competitive Net and Gross flights have the opportunity to compete against the full field of Flight Finalists in an 18-Hole Championship Round for the Overall Golf World Pacific Amateur Champion Title. The four participants from each Flight will also be competing head to head for each individual Flight Championship.

The Overall PacAm Champion, Gross Champion, and all Flight Champions will be presented with trophies at the completion of play. The runner-up in each flight will also receive a commemorative item recognizing their great achievement.
